I tried to make roasted grape, goat cheese and honey stuffed sweet potatoes, from How Sweet it is.
The first error was how long it took to cook the sweet potatoes. She suggested cooking them for about an hour, but I estimate it took me 4 hours total to make this, even after I decided to cut the potatoes in half.
Which brings me to the other problem. Se wanted you to take out the filling without cutting the potatoes in half. How? I couldn't have fit my spoon in there. Maybe it would have worked if I baked them at 400 for 3 hours.
Last were the grapes. I think what happened was that the juice from the grapes came out, then burnt onto the pan. Because its mostly sugar I was able to soak it off, but the pan is still soaking now.
In the end they tasted pretty good, but I was biased from my traumatic experience.
I need to post some better cooking experiences in the future so you guys don't think I'm a failure.
