Recent Visit to NAU

Last Sunday I visited Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. I now have it down to UCCS or NAU. I like Flagstaff more than Colorado Springs because I grew up in The Springs so it’s automatically lame, but also because Flagstaff is more along the lines of Manitou Springs ie liberal, things to do, interesting people, places to go. I also like the NAU campus a lot more. It’s way bigger; 1.5 miles long, they have 11 bus stops running through it. I think they have something like 30 places to eat. Yeah. UCCS is pretty dang small. I think they have 1 shuttle. But on the other hand UCCS has majors more along the line of what I want. I don’t know exactly what I want, but I’m pretty sure UCCS will have it (it makes sense to me). Also its waaaay cheaper. It still kind of blows my mind that instate is so much cheaper. NAU is part of the WUE (you pay 1.5x of instate) but it’s still much more expensive.

                So emotionally NAU is my choice but logically UCCS is the choice. I’ll try to work on changing my feelings.
