Recently I found a book in the library: One Drawing a Day. Surprisingly I'm still trying to improve my drawing (it stared as a project in psychology class.) so I've decided to follow along with the prompts.
Day 1: Draw a still life with a regular pen. Easy enough.
Day 2: Draw flowers with different styles of nibs. I have 8 nibs and I'm surprised they almost all look the same.
Day 3: Drawing with a bamboo pen. I didn't have one so I decided to do some anatomy practice on Wysp.
Day 4: Draw portraits from the TV with charcoal. I kind of liked this, though it didn't turn out that well.
Day 5: Painting general shapes, then adding details with pen.
Day 6: Drawing a garden with different pencil weights. I didn't really get this one.
Day 7: Draw a garden with brushes, pens and ink. I liked this one the most. As you can see it was the most successful.
Day 8: Draw portraits with different mediums. Yeah, I didn't want to do this either. And as far as practice goes, this isn't that great. I don't even know if you can see it, but near the bottom I've drawn some ladies inspired by the Bollywood movies I'd watched earlier that day.
