Sock Darning

 

    I've finally gotten around to darning some of my socks. I have an entire bin of clothes to be mended or altered but at least I've gotten to these socks.
   

     I read online that you should use embroidery thread (if you don't have official darning thread). I think for this I used two threads. It worked out much better than sewing thread which is too thin to really thread.
     And yes the stitching is on the wrong side. Hey, at least the hole is closed.
