I'm so behind. I currently have 2580 words and I should be at 9,000.
One of my problems is that I'm having doubts about my story. Its a crime drama where an officer and a detective have to investigate a murder on their own. Why? Well because going by the book would be boring. But that's not really a story reason. I have no idea what their motivation is.
I also mentioned that I have a super outline, but I failed to plan time to write. When I get home I use all my motivation to do homework. Its really hard to sit down and write. Usually I forget that I'm even writing a story. Its also probably because I just started, so its not really a habit.
My new goal is finishing the story, regardless of word count.
